Our guide Brandon was incredible and was so fun to share stories with! Getting to climb and rappel at Sylvan Lake was one of the most incredible and beautiful experiences I’ve ever had, there’s nothing else like it.If I ever decide to go rock climbing again, I will definitely choose Sylvan Rocks 💯💯.
Our family of four (kids 13 and 11) had a fantastic time climbing with Sylvan Rocks! It has been the highlight of our trip and an experience none of us will ever forget. The co-owner, Jeff, was very friendly and flexible with our somewhat last minute booking. He was patient during the booking process when my phone kept losing service in the area and I had to call him back 3 times! My kids have done some indoor climbing but, other than that, no climbing experience. Our guide, Cheyenne, was very encouraging and was able to tailor the climbs to each climber’s comfort level. He was very attentive to safety, and I felt comfortable that we were safe at all times, while still being able to try routes that were challenging for us. I would recommend this experience to anyone. Don’t miss out on a fantastic experience...one that you will not forget. And who knows, may lead to a new passion!
Talked with Brandon, prior to scheduling, very personable straightforward loved to talk about climbing. Jeff took my son out on the climb, he is fantastic. He kept in touch with us, and took about a dozen pictures for us. An absolute must do in the Black Hills.
