Had an unreal time, first with an intro group climb, then liked it so much I immediately followed with the 6h climb. i'm a decent indoor climber with very little outdoor experience, and Ryan picked a great set of pitches to keep me just at the edge of my comfort zone. A couple perfect days. Highly recommend.
Talked with Brandon, prior to scheduling, very personable straightforward loved to talk about climbing. Jeff took my son out on the climb, he is fantastic. He kept in touch with us, and took about a dozen pictures for us. An absolute must do in the Black Hills.
My boyfriend and I booked a 6 hour session with Shankar, and had a fantastic time! We both have indoor climbing experience, him some outdoor climbing experience, and we were afraid that we wouldn't find climbs that were "just right" for us. Shankar did an excellent job picking climbs for us, he made it fun, and we felt super safe the entire time. I highly recommend booking with him at Sylvan Rocks!
