We had such an amazing time! Brandon was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and personable! My husband and I went for the 6 hr climb package and it was everything that we hoped it would be! We were challenged and exhilarated, yet felt very safe the entire time! We are novice climbers and Brandon invested the time to teach us basic climbing skills-which we greatly appreciated. He was amazing at gauging our comfort level and providing us with climbs that were a great fit for us with amazing views! We can’t say enough great things about Brandon at Sylvan Rocks and we can’t wait to bring our kids back to experience the challenge and fun that climbing provides! This package is an amazing value for the investment! Climb on! : ).

My 8 year old daughter and I had never been climbing before and we’re looking for a fun challenge. I was a little apprehensive about this because I wanted to help my daughter overcome her fear of heights and also have a good time. The whole experience was first class from start to finish. Jeff, the co-owner, was friendly, easy to get ahold of, patiently answered my many questions, and was even flexible with a last minute schedule change. He was also great with kids! Ryan and Chris were our guides over two days and both went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. Every step of the way, they thoroughly followed safety precautions which made our first time climbing much more enjoyable. They also were great with kids and pleasant to work with. It was rewarding as a parent to see our child build confidence! All in all, our first experience was excellent and my daughter and I have now found a new hobby we can enjoy together. I would highly recommend Sylvan Rocks Climbing to any parent looking to enjoy the outdoors with their kids or anyone looking for a new challenge. Thank you Sylvan for a great time!

Took a Venture Crew (Scout Troop, but older and more experienced), my son included, to Sylvan Lake with Sylvan Rocks. Young group of enthusiastic and experienced guides did an amazing job! Explained and demonstrated the techniques and gear, and then allowed everyone multiple passes up several ropes they set up. They had, I think, 7 ropes set up, so a lot of climbing happening! They were sure to include belaying instruction as well. What else can I say but Sylvan Rocks rocks!
