I have climbed with Sylvan Rocks 3 years in a row now and have loved it every time. The guides are professional, personable, and do a great job of encouraging everyone to make the most out of their experience. Fantastic experience! Shankar is an impressive and talented guide. Me (56) and my 14 year old son - first-time outdoor climbers (twice have climbed indoors) had a blast and he he made us both comfortable. My son did a huge 150’ plus climb at the end of the day.
I highly recommend! Did the multiday course to climb Devil's Tower few days ago. Wasn't confident if I was ready from long breaks from casual indoor climbing in the past, but, they cater to you. Just go! You can trust the process. Brandon patiently explained the process when I called initially. Jeff had the experience, knowledge, professionalism, and patience to safely guide me up choice/amazing spots in the nearby state park in the Custer, SD area, while preparing us to go up Devil's Tower the next day. Everywhere we climbed was so cool. It must be said that the tower climb is a truly unforgettable, challenging, amazing, & surreal experience. Priceless indeed. Great company. Thanks Jeff!!
