Needles Eye is a rock formation in Custer State Park along the Needles Highway.
Heading south along Needles Highway past Sylvan Lake and the campground you will soon come to the Needles eye, and the first of several tunnels cut to allow the traffic to wonder through the Needles.
There are several routes up the Eye (most with huge runouts), and many great rock climbing routes in a small area around the Needles eye.
