Just Another Pretty Face, 5.8

The series of rock climbing routes in the Needles that start with the word "Just" were most likely put up by an ol' Iowa farmer named Gene Larson with his wife Norma Jean.  A Needles local in the summer time, he started climbing in his mid 50's and managed to put up 5.12 on lead.  Expect pure face climbing fun, and for every route to be difficult for its grade.

Just another Pretty Face starts just left of Cowboy Jazz.  From the wide spot in Needles Highway between the Custer State Park entrance station and the Sylvan Lake Campground, head towards the rocks.  Follow the wall of the right one (Photographers Peak) to the right.  Just before the crack where Cowboy Jazz starts you will find a line of bolts leading to an anchor.   Expect some exciting face climbing and some interesting positions.

Gear:  Quick draws

Rap:  one 60M rope from the anchors.  Can top rope Cowboy Jazz from same anchor.

Warning:  Rock Climbing can be dangerous.  Use this information at your own risk.
