Let us introduce you to the fun and exciting sport of rock climbing while teaching safe climbing practices. Get your hands on the climbing equipment and the rock. Learn while doing. Plan to meet our AMGA Certified TR Guide, Mark Greeno, at Palisades Park. Mark will set up several routes for top rope climbing, offer basic information about good anchors, and teach you proper belay techniques.

Rates and Times: Palisades State Park climbing is offered during most of the summer season. Reservations required, and weekdays preferred.

We offer our Discover Climbing (3-4) hours for $60 per person (min. of 2). All needed climbing equipment supplied. This course will cover basic climbing movement, and proper belaying will be taught while climbing. Its a perfect way to get started rock climbing.

Top Rope Anchor Instruction: This 6 hour clinic gives you the basic tools to safely set Top Rope anchors at Palisades State Park. We will focus more on Top Rope anchor building and safety then climbing. Prerequisite: Discover Climbing day or similar experience and familiarity with belaying and climbing gear.

All needed climbing equipment will be provided, but bring your own gear if you have it. Number of participants limited to 5. Cost $155 per person for a party of 2, $145 per person for a party of 3-5
