Making the Most of Your Experience |
|
This is your rock climbing adventure! In order to get the most out of your day climbing outdoors with us in the Black Hills Forest of South Dakota:
- Please arrive on time at Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore National Monument, or Devils Tower National Monument.
- Come prepared with snacks, lunch, water, appropriate clothing according to the Hill City, Custer or Rapid City weather forecast (see What to Bring ), a smile, and an open mind.
- Let your rock climbing guide know of your intentions and/or climbing goals for the day. Be honest about your abilities, fears, and expectations.
- Feel free to ask questions about the many items that are being taught or discussed. Understanding things before you leave the ground greatly improves everyone’s safety.
In order for our company to evolve, we value our guests’ feedback. This can be in the form of letters, cards, e-mails, pictures, etc. We also appreciate our guests filling out & returning our Climbing School and Guide Service Performance Survey upon completing their program.
Here at Sylvan Rocks Climbing School and Guide Service, our guides take great pride in their profession. If you feel your guide has provided you with an excellent experience, it is both appropriate and appreciated to offer a gratuity.
