 Devils Tower Tour for 1-2+ days
The Tower is the ultimate goal of many of our guests. Build up to it with one of our other courses, or bring your experience and let us guide you to the top. Look forward to a full day on the Durrance route or enjoy multiple ascents in a day on more difficult routes if your climbing ability allows. (Multi-pitch climbing experience following 5.8 routes or equivalent experience to our Intermediate Rock course is required for a Devils Tower Summit attempt.)

Out of respect for the Native American summer solstice celebration, Sylvan Rocks honors the voluntary climbing ban and will not guide at Devil's Tower National Monument for the entire month of June.
Needles Classics Tour 1-2+ days
Rock climbing in the Black Hills is an adventure. A Sylvan Rocks guide can really take the stress out of climbing in the Needles. You have heard about the many great routes in Custer State Park, and maybe they are beyond your comfort level on the sharp end. This is a great way to climb them with out getting the ba-JEE-beez scared out of you. We know where the classic routes are and how to get you to the summits. (Due to the nature of Needles climbing, there are some routes we will not guide due to the danger factor.)

 Improve Your Movement on the Stone
Everyone can improve their climbing technique by climbing smarter. Having an experienced guide evaluate your footwork and technique could allow you to finally tick off that project with style. Let us help you stand tall and secure with better footwork or learn to jam your way up a crack. We can help you work through these special situations and get you pushing higher grades faster.
