If you see a picture of the original Sylvan Lake Lodge on the shore of Sylvan Lake, chances are that it was taken by a brave soul who carried a box camera up the back side of Photographers Peak. The view of Sylvan Lake from the top is very nice, so don't forget your camera when you head up with Sylvan Rocks Climbing School and Guide Service.
There are several routes to the top. The photographers most likely climbed up what we sometimes use as the descent route off the back side. It would be an exciting journey without sticky rubber climbing shoes and a big box camera over your shoulder.
Aquarium Rock is the smaller rock mass just west of Photographers Peak.
